Hello parents!

We are so excited about our season starting in a few weeks! We have 227 swimmers registered so far! Many are returning, but many are new to our team, and we can't wait to see you all on deck! If you haven't registered yet, there's still time! Head to our team website and get your swimmer(s) signed up!

I wanted to remind you about our parent meeting this Thursday, April 4, from 6-8 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Summerwood. (14350 N Sam Houston Pkwy E, Houston, TX 77044) We will be introducing our board members, coaches, and going over how to declare your swimmers for meets and how you will register to volunteer. There will be a time of Q&A as well.

Carol Beth Ivory, our volunteer coordinator, has worked tirelessly to put together a team handbook that can be found on our website. It has tons of great information, and you can find the answers to many of your questions there.  https://smwstingrays.swimtopia.com/team-handbook 

If you were not able to make one of our registration nights, we will be able to take your registration checks and your volunteer checks at the parent meeting. We will also have our team merchandise there to purchase. However, D&J Sports will NOT be there for you to order your suits. You will need to call them or go to their store in Tomball to do that. The suits should be ready for pickup the first week of practice if they were ordered at one of our registration nights. If you call to order yours, you will need to ask them  when yours will be ready.

If you have a new swimmer on our team (10 and under) and you have not had your assessments done, please contact Fins to schedule one. Tell them you are a member of our team, and you will not be charged for the assessment. 832-562-3220
