Visiting Team Information
On behalf of the Summerwood Stingrays, we would like to welcome you to our pool!
Our pool is located at 14111 Summerwood Lakes Drive, Houston, TX 77044.
Warm ups for the visiting team will begin at 7:40 AM.
Pre-Meet Timeline
- 7:10 SMW warm up
- 7:40 Visiting team warm up
- 7:50 Officials meeting
- 8:00 Ready bench and computer volunteers report
- 8:00 Scratches due
- 8:10 timer/scribe meeting on deck
- 8:15 first and final call events 1-4
- 8:25 first and final call events 5-6 National anthem
- 8:30 meet begins
Parking
Everyone should park in the Summerwood Elementary parking lot. The pool parking lot will be blocked off for residents using the other facilities or anyone that requires handicap parking. You can drop off your swimmers, spectators, and gear in the parking lot but after dropping off please follow traffic flow to head to the elementary school. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN OUR CLUBHOUSE LOTS!!! Please also pay attention to No Parking signs.
Show up hungry - we will have breakfast, snacks, lunch, and drinks items available for credit card purchase. We will also have merchandise for sale inside the gate. No cash accepted.
Tent Set Up
Visiting team set-up area is the grass on the parking lot side of the pool. See map, below. Please do not set up on the concrete, over the main pathway to the pool or inside the pool gates.
Note about Pool Gates
After a citation from Harris County last summer, our HOA is very strict about not propping open any gates around the pool. We will have volunteers stationed to open each of the 3 gates in order to keep traffic flowing, but please be patient with us as we try to honor our HOA's rules.
