Stingray Practices Kicking Off!

Hey Stingrays, it’s Coach Mark here!

I wanted to say that our first official day of entire team practices was a great one! It was a bit cold, but still went really well. I just wanted to say a few reminders as we continue to progress with our daily practices.

First, I know that it was a bit chaotic getting things started today, but please remember that only the 6 and under parents are allowed to be on the pool deck during practice times. If you wish to stay and watch, please bring some folding chairs and sit on the outside of the fence. This is to help reduce the chaos on deck, and so that coaches can help build rapport with your swimmers. During the first 5 and last 5 minutes of each practice, parents are allowed to come in and drop-off/pick up their swimmer. We appreciate your help with this.

Next, please be sure to write your child’s name on all of their equipment with a sharpie. Make sure that it is large and visible, as kid’s equipment often gets mixed up with others. To keep it all organized, you may want to look into a mesh swim equipment bag that will allow everything to dry well, and keep everything in one place. With that, we had many items left behind at practice today. Be sure to double check that you have everything before you leave the pool.

That’s all I have for you today. Let’s keep up the great work and high energy as we make this season the best one yet!

Thank you Stingrays!
Coach Mark.
