We are excited to announce that our team will be attending the Summer Heat Invitational Meet this year!

What is it?

This is an invitational so there are qualifying times. A detailed document about the meet can be found here, and attached to this e-mail.

Does my swimmer qualify?

Attached is a list of who currently qualifies, but swimmers will have one more opportunity this weekend to earn qualifying times for Summer Heat! Events can be added after this weekend’s meet, or you can wait to sign up until after if you are hoping to get more qualifying times. 13 and older do not need qualifying times.

How do I sign up?

Summer Heat is listed on our website under our team calendar. It is listed as “2024 Summer Heat Invitational - Hosted by ESA” and anyone with qualifying times will be able to sign up similar to our other dual meets. You may sign up for as many events as you qualify for - there are high point awards for each age group, so the more events you swim the better!

When is it?

Sunday, June 9th. Session 1 (11 & up) will begin at 9 am, with warm-ups starting at 7 am. Session 2 (10 & under) warm up will start immediately following Session 1. A more detailed timeline will be available once the heat sheets are created.

Where is it?

The meet is held at Atascocita High School, 13300 Will Clayton Parkway, Humble, TX 77346.

How much does it cost?

The cost is $7/event to attend.The team will cover the cost of relay team entries. You can pay for your entries in our team store. Please do so right after you sign up for events, so you don’t forget. If we do not receive payment for the events by Monday, 6/3, the swimmer will be removed from the meet.

What else?

Times from Summer Heat count towards Trinity and Ponderosa qualifying, and swimmers tend to have great times here with the indoor pool and fast competition!
