Good morning Stingrays!

Our home meet versus Walden is tomorrow morning. Please note that due to graduation ceremonies, this meet is starting 30 minutes early, at 8 am. All times are adjusted accordingly. Swimmers should be onsite at 6:15 am.

Also, the Swimtopia app has been logging me out more than usual. Please take a minute to open your Swimtopia app and make sure you’re logged in to ensure you will get alerts in the case of weather updates for practice tonight.

Parking

Everyone should park in the Summerwood Elementary parking lot. There is no street parking available and the pool parking lot will be blocked off for residents using the other facilities or anyone that requires handicap parking. You can drop off your swimmers, spectators, and gear in the parking lot but after dropping off please follow traffic flow to head to the elementary school.

Arrival & Check-In

Check-in is at 6:15 am. Coaches will be outside the pool gate on the lake side to check in swimmers. Warm ups start at 6:40.

To help speed up the check in process, please help us by writing your children’s event numbers on their arm. If your child is 10 or under, please also write their name on their arm. This helps the tent parents, ready bench, and timer/scribe volunteers ensure the meet runs smoothly without delays.

Ready Bench Text Alerts

We are trying something new this season and sending ready bench text alerts in addition to the announcements by the DJ. To get the alerts, please text STINGRAYS1 to 346-641-4885.

Events

Please check your swimmers events in Swimtopia sometime today. Let us know if there are any errors, and reach out with any questions. We will attach the full heat sheets to the meet event in Swimtopia once they are available.

Concessions/Merchandise (Cashless)

Show up hungry - we will have breakfast, snacks, lunch, and drinks items available for credit card purchase. We will also have merchandise for sale inside the gate. No cash accepted!! All sales benefit our team.

Family Set Up

Our team sets up on the lake side of the pool. It will be muddy and wet from all the rain so bring tarps and plan accordingly.

We ask that no one set up chairs or permanently sit inside the pool gate. Walkways and stairs must remain clear for people to pass through to the viewing area, concessions, etc. This is especially important now that we have extra gates/fences in the facility. Our meet tomorrow will also have a lot more people than time trials, so please be considerate of others and leave the deck when your swimmer’s event is complete.

If your swimmer won't be attending but did RSVP attending please text me ASAP at (832) 260-4121 and I will let the coaches know. (My phone ringer will be off starting at 10 tonight so feel free to text anytime.)
